You will have to wait 4-6 weeks to receive the original copy back, but they will send a conforming copy if you include an extra copy and a self addressed stamped envelope.

The San Diego County Recorder charges $15.00 for the first page and $3.00 for each additional page. No fees for conforming copies. Checks are payable to the SAN DIEGO COUNTY RECORDER’S OFFICE.

This deadline can be extended for up to a total of one (1) year with the consent of all legal parties by filing a CALIFORNIA Notice Of Credit for extension.
